Thais Peralta
Teacher
Thais was born in Brooklyn and has lived in Williamsburg for more than 16 years. She began working at the Mount Carmel ECC in 2017 as a volunteer and went on to work in the Extended Day program and as a substitute. She is excited to be fulfilling her teacher dreams as she begins her second year of teaching with Julie Wilson!
Thais received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Spanish from Brooklyn College. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at Brooklyn College. She enjoys exploring the changing neighborhood and spending time with her family and two dogs, Teddy and Frankie!
