Nina Diaz

Nina grew up in Greenpoint/Williamsburg and has seen the exciting changes to the neighborhood. For more than 9 years, Nina has worked in the financial industry at JP Morgan. A few years ago, Nina realized that working with children was her true passion, so she decided to pursue a career in education. To jump-start her new career, Nina landed a job with the NYC Department of Education as a paraprofessional and as a senior camp counselor at the YMCA. Nina is also continuing to pursue her degree in early childhood education.
Nina is really excited to be working in the Red Room this year with Becky and loves being part of the Mount Carmel family! In her free time Nina enjoys taking her daughter Anisia to Domino Park and watching movies with her fiancé, Tony. Additionally, she loves to read and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
