Nina Diaz
Extended Day
Nina grew up in Greenpoint/Williamsburg and has seen the exciting changes to the neighborhood. For more than 9 years, Nina has worked in the financial industry at JP Morgan. A few years ago, Nina realized that working with children was her true passion, so she decided to pursue a career in education. To jump-start her new career, Nina landed a job with the NYC Department of Education as a paraprofessional and as a senior camp counselor at the YMCA. Nina is also continuing to pursue her degree in early childhood education.
Nina loves being part of the Mount Carmel family and making Extended Day full of joy for the children! In her free time Nina enjoys spending time in Domino Park with her daughters and watching movies with her husband. Additionally, she loves to read and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
