Education Director

Adriana is thrilled to to be a part of The Mount Carmel Team and to serve as the Education Director! Adriana received a Masters in Literacy from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Marywood University.

Adriana brings over a decade of experience working with children in Pre-K through Grade 5, both as a Head Teacher and as a Cluster Science Teacher, in private and public schools settings. She is trained in Responsive Classroom as well as the PAF Reading Program. She also remains active within national education organizations in order to stay current with pilot programs, advancements, and opportunities for professional development.

As the Education Director, Adriana spends as much time as she can inside each classroom in order to know the children and Teachers entrusted in her care and support them in the best way possible.

Outside of school, Adriana enjoys cooking for family and friends, reading a great book, volunteering at her parish, and traveling to new and familiar places.
